Antique Swedish French Style Display Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

Very attractive antique French style display cabinet in Rosewood & Kingwood, plus other woods, inlays & marquetry. It has a double serpentine shaped front & curved sides. The glass follows exactly the same shape too. There are ormolu mounts all over this piece & the handles are gilt too. It has two shelves inside & is all lined in the original velvet. There are two drawers below, with marquetry in the middle. I'm fairly sure this piece is Swedish & I would date it from around the 1910-20's period. It's in good original condition, having just been polished & it has a lovely warm colour. There is also a working key.

Depth - 15", 38 cm

Height - 60.7", 154 cm
