Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
They have a plain central column with a decorative piece in the centre and ornate brasswork under the candle cup and on the base.
These were possibly French and could have been used in a religious place or home as they have a cross on the base and small crosses under the shaped candle cups.
The candlesticks measure 56cm in length and 15cm across, and weigh nearly 1kg each.
