A Mahogany Early Victorian Period Antique Wardrobe

Description

A mahogany Early Victorian Period antique combination wardrobe. With a double stepped and moulded cornice of inverted breakfront form having twin "sentry box" rectangular panelled doors, veneered using the finest figured mahogany and opening to reveal hanging space and a large bonnet drawer to the right hand section, with full length hanging space and hooks to the left hand section. The central section with an unusual combination of hinged cupboards with dummy drawer fronts and four rectangular mahogany lined drawers with the fronts again veneered using the finest mahogany veneers and with patinated brass octagonal back plate handles. Supported on an inverted breakfront plinth English circa 1860

Dimensions: 69" high x 80" wide x 23" deep (internal hanging space 17" wide x 18" deep)

Condition: This wardrobe is in stunning original condition, cleaned and waxed
