An Attractive Satinwood Wheel Barometer

19th century
Description

A pretty early/mid 19th century satinwood WHEEL (OR "BANJO") BAROMETER by C & T Prada of High Wycombe (Bucks).

Surmounted by a "swan-neck" pediment and single brass finial, the case is veneered in particularly well-figured satinwood of good warm colour.

Below the long thermometer is the main barometer dial, engraved and silvered, with cast brass concave section bezel. Excellent condition and in full working order; guaranteed for at least two years.
