French Marble Top Chest of Drawers C.1880.

Description

Fine 19th.c. French marble top mahogany chest of drawers c.1880. Original and particularly well figured grey marble top with shaped front corners and moulded edge. Over three long drawers with flame mahogany veneered drawer fronts and gilded mouldings on oak groundwork with oak drawer linings. Fluted front staves and turned legs with neat brass feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied. With a handwritten inscription (in French) to one drawer.

Dimensions: width 47", depth 19½", height 32".
