The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.

The watch measures 23mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. As it is on the small side for a gent’s watch, it would suit a slim wrist or would work very nicely as a lady’s watch. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Edinburgh 1938, with a maker’s mark for the British Watch Case Company. Both the case and the lens are in good condition with just minor marking.
The black dial looks good to the naked eye … if you look very closely, there are dots across it.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
