Gents 1930s Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A gents 1930s wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 21.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and the articulated lugs and 29mm high excluding the lugs. The case is in lovely condition. The slightly convex lens has some marks but is very acceptable for a 1930s piece.

The dial has a charming appearance with lots of Art Deco influence. There is a little marking but it is still very easy to read the time.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
