Large Brass Planter with Lion's Claw Feet

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900-1940, this large brass planter is in excellent condition, with no solder marks or indications of repairs anywhere. It is hard to photograph brass, and the item looks pale in these images, but in fact is a rich, deep yellow brass colour in reality.

It stands on four lion's claw feet and still has the original lion faces and handles at the sides.

We have photographed inside and out to emphasise the good condition it is in.

It is 42cm wide, and 34cm across, and stands at 31cm including the feet. The inside is 23cm deep. It can be viewed and collected from the Surrey area by appointment.

We have included postage and packing within the UK mainland only, but quotes for delivery or postage outside the mainland can be given. Please contact us for further information.
