A Highly Unusual George III Birds Eye Maple Bow-fronted Chest of Drawers.

Description

This chest is very different from the usual with birds-eye maple drawer fronts that are banded in mahogany, ends that are plum-pudding mahogany and a flame mahogany top that is both banded and box-wood strung. The chest is in very original condition, with the exception of the handles and is of a very good colour and patina. 970 mm wide, 980 mm high and 575 mm deep. Circa 1820.
