A Superb French Hepplewhite Style Sofa

1900 - 1920
Description

On beautifully carved cabroile legs with scroll toes and knees with hare bells and scrolls, all in fine quality mahogany. An unusual feature and sign of quality are the rear legs which also carved.

The sofa is in very good condition with the upholstery having been expertly and expensively redone. 1675 mm wide, 865 mm deep, 980 mm high and 470 mm seat height. Circa 1920.
