Description

A most magnificent Victorian set in it's original presentation case and an opportunity to impress at that special occasion. All pieces are made from English Silver Plate, the two jam spoons and the butter knife have stunning carved Mother of Pearl handles. In this central section is also a match pair of sugar tongs.

The twelve spoons are quite stunning with highly decorative handles, all pieces are marked for the silversmith Mark Willis of Sheffield. The teaspoons have a registered number 284795 for the year 1896 and the presentation box has a design registration number 226975 for the year 1894. The box is beautifully and lavishly lined in Emerald velvet and silk, quite stunning. All in excellent condition. The box measures 15" x 8 1/2".
