Pair of Antique Georgian Style Leather Wing Back Armchairs

1920 - 1940
Description

Impressive pair of leather wing armchairs in distressed brown leather, in an antique Georgian style, which I would date to around the 1930's period. They have many nice features, including shaped hump backs and well shaped wings. The backs are deep buttoned & they are hand studded all over. These armchairs which have very generous proportions, are very comfortable & are in good original condition with feather filled cushions. The leather itself has been polished, but we have tried to retain the beautiful character of these chairs & I must say they have a wonderful original colour. There are no splits, holes or tears in the leather & they sit on shaped legs.

Depth - 33", 84 cm

Height - 42.5", 108 cm

Seat height - 17.5", 44 cm
