Set 4 Antique Early Victorian Dining Chairs

Description

A set of 4 early Victorian mahogany bar back dining chairs dating from circa 1840. With moulded cross rails, flanked with foliate motifs they have drop in seats and stand on elegant tapering ring turned legs. The seats have been recently reupholstered in a cream brocade with a small gold self pattern.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid and sturdy joints. Frames have an old varnish/polish which has worn away in places. Upholstery is fairly new and clean, some small marks/blemishes in places.

Width: 18 inches

Depth : 16 inches

Height to seat: 17 inches

Overall Height: 33 inches
