Antique Regency Mahogany Clothes Press Wardrobe C1820

Antique Regency Mahogany Clothes Press Wardrobe and dating from around c1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has cornice top above two fielded panelled doors with original lock and key. Internally there is a brass hanging rail. To the base there are two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with original brass handles ( the door key also locks the drawers ). It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet. Separates into three pieces for ease of transporting.

Measures: 76" high x 25" deep x internal depth 22" x 50" wide

This is a superb Press.

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
