The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The movement is signed with the Eterna-Matic name and it also has the serial number 4,493,470 which dates it back to 1960.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and the condition is good with just a little rubbing on some of the edges, barely noticeable to the naked eye. The screw-on case back is stainless steel and it has the Eterna name inside. The winding crown has the Eterna ball bearings logo.

The lens looks good with just a light 2mm scratch which is barely noticeable to the naked eye.
The signed dial, again with the five ball bearings logo, is in its original finish; there is some wear and discolouration but it has lots of vintage charm. Dauphine style hands, centre seconds and a date display (initially set by winding the hands forwards).

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box; it is a bit tatty and a past owner has inked their details onto the lid silk but still nice to have.
