Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The main body of the cabinet is made in rosewood in the regency style with reeded columns at the sides, and delicately turned legs with brass feet. The right hand side locks keeping all the files secure, the key and lock work well.
The files are good heavy quality with tooled leather fronts and brass handles, (these are 13” deep, 4.5” high and 13.5” wide internally)
