Description

A beautiful walnut & burr walnut 1920s kidney shaped desk. The kidney shaped solid walnut top with a small raised walnut gallery and an inset olive green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. Having nine mahogany lined drawers veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut and having cast acanthus leaf brass handles with the original locks and key. With solid walnut sides, ends and back, supported on eight elegant small carved cabriole supports with pad feet. English circa 1920-1930

Dimensions: 48" wide x 34" high x 22" deep (knee hole 17" wide x 26" high)

Condition: This desk is in beautiful condition, a lovely colour and patination. Replacement leather insert.
