Pretty as a picture, this is an absolutely stunning little box or jar made from crystal with channel cuts to the side and a star cut to the underside, very tactile. What makes this piece very unusual is the guilloche enamel which runs around the sides as well as the top, usually it covers just the top. The enamel is a beautiful blue colour with a good glossy patina showcasing the engine turning below.

The underside of the lid is where the full English hallmark can be found for London 1925.

Excellent condition measuring 1 1/4" x 1" x 1 1/2" tall.
