Description

A small kingwood Louis XVI Period marble top commode. Retaining the original serpentine marble top, above the bombe shaped front veneered in kingwood with fine quality cast ormolu mounts, handles and escutcheons. With two oak lined drawers having serpentine ends and ormolu mounted throughout. The whole supported on cabriole supports with sabots. French circa 1780

Dimensions: 26" wide x 16" deep x 30" high

Condition: This commode is in beautiful condition, re-polished and cleaned in our workshops
