Description

A really exquisite and fine quality box made from a good gauge of sterling silver, beautifully engine turned and lavishly gilded on the inside. The domed top is beautifully decorated with a pale blue guilloche enamel and hand-painted pink Roses, all in superb undamaged condition.

The box is of the finest quality with the famous makers initials being present for the top-notch silversmith, Sampson Mordan and Co. The box has a full hallmark for Chester 1912, making this example a true antique. Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/2" in diameter x 1" tall.
