1920s Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1920s Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed AWW Co, Waltham, Mass, USA and it has the serial number 25,682,609 which dates it back to 1926. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The watch has a gold plated full hunter case which has engine turned detail to both the front and back, and a vacant cartouche to the front. The case is in good condition with just minor marks and a little rubbing to the engine turned detail. The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover.

The lens has a minor mark but not immediately obvious.

The enamel dial is signed Waltham USA. It is in very nice condition with just a short hairline crack underneath the subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel hands (a little marking to the hour hand) and an outer minute track.
