Antique Omega Gun Metal Pocket Watch, Circa 1910s

Description

An antique Omega gun metal pocket watch, circa 1910s.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement has the early Omega logo and the serial number will be underneath the dial. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal there are some surface marks but overall it is very acceptable for an antique piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is in beautiful condition. It is signed with the name of the original retailer, R C Amey, 16 Pilgrim Street, Ludgate Hill, EC. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch has a supplementary vintage double albert.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
