Antique Edwardian Mahogany Tub Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant antique Edwardian tub chair in mellow mahogany with stringing to the legs, arms and front seat rail. It has pierced side and back splats with inlaid diamond and cross motif. It has turned arm supports and its stands on tapered legs culminating in spade feet. It has been newly reupholstered in a gold brocade fabric. Dating from circa 1910.

Condition Report:

Scratches and marks commensurate with age. Fairly solid and sturdy. A few small old mends to the back splat in places. Newly reupholstered.

Width: 21 inches

Depth : 18 inches

Height to seat: 16.5 inches

Overall Height: 29 inches
