Antique Silver Omega Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away happily and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement has the Omega logo on the balance cock. The serial number under the dial is 1132761and this dates it back to around 1900. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs. The case has minor marks but overall the condition is good for its age.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The enamel dial has three hairline cracks towards the edge of the dial and the hands are a little out of shape.

The watch comes with a sterling silver chain which weighs 42g and measures 39cm long.
