1914 Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch

Description

1914 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed American Waltham, USA together with the name Traveler and the serial number 19,564,443 which dates it back to 1914. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The gold plated case is the Star model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just three little indentations to the case back and minor marks.

The glass is in good order.

The signed enamel dial is in good condition.
