Georgian Bureau with Secret Drawers

Description

A good quality mahogany bureau with 4 mahogany lined drawers, original brass swan neck handles and bracket feet . The interior with 8 pigeon holes and 9 drawers with turned ivory pulls . The middle door with carved blind fret decoration to each side and ivory escutcheon.

Open the door and a sprung catch in the top can release the middle section to reveal 2 secret drawers, see pict.3.

Good original patina with 1 or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use , see 4th. and 5th. picts.

Sizes - Width...43.25''...110 cm. Depth..20.5''...52 cm.

Height...43''...109.5 cm.
