The front cabriole legs continue the theme with scrolled toes terminating in the original brass castors which also found on the rear swept legs.

In warm tones of blush reds and golden browns accented with palettes of blue, the needlepoint decoration depicts a gentleman returning with a brace of pheasant to a castle distant. Traditionally stuffed the upholstery is in good condition and finished with a brocade trim.

A fine example of its type, superb quality and a stunning piece presented in very good antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
