Description

A Sheraton Revival Edwardian Period triple shield back painted satinwood settee. The triple shield back having pierced vase shaped splats and with polychrome painted detail. With open swept arms, having a loose buttoned squab cushion which is newly re-upholstered in a gold silk damask, above the cane work seat. Having a shaped front seat rail, the whole supported on four square tapering satinwood supports with further hand painted polychrome decoration and swept rear supports. This is after a design of a Period example originally designed by Thomas Sheraton in the late 18th Century. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 56" wide x 41" high x 17.5" deep (seat height 18")

Condition: This settee is in wonderful original condition, of good colour and patination. Cleaned and waxed
