Antique pedestal desk dating to the end of the Victorian era, c.1900.

Raised on continuous plinths, the ends are decorated with triple field panel that are repeated inside the knee hole. The detail and finish continues on the back of the desk allowing for centre room positioning.

The top is finished with a professionally fitted new olive green skiver featuring both blind and gold leaf embossing. Beneath the top a centre drawer with brass pull complete with working lock and key is flanked by drawers and a pair of slides. To the right hand side a pair of drawers above a double, filing drawer and to the left four individual drawers. The smaller drawers are fitted with adjustable dividers and all drawers feature cedar linings.
