This is an antique, English glazed bookcase from the late Victorian period c.1880.

Three astragal glazed doors retain their original glass and are complete with working locks featuring inset brass keyhole linings and subtly moulded brass closer strips. Inside, the original shelves locate into preformed slides offering bespoke positioning.

In perfect proportion, the frieze separates the cupboard from the dental moulding beneath the elegant moulded top all of which displays a wonderful sheen.
