The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 12.
The movement is signed Longines and it has the serial number 7,961,431 which dates it bak to 1950.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The stainless steel case is in good condition with just light surface marks. The inside of the case back has the Longines name, together with the initials EFCo (for Ernest Francillon, the founder of Longines).

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial appears to be in its original finish; there is a little marking / discolouration but all very acceptable for its age.
A later dark brown leather strap has been fitted.
