Art Deco Yew Wood Chest of Drawers C.1930.

Description

Stylish Art Deco bow fronted chest of drawers by the celebrated English cabinet makers Waring & Gillow c.1930. Good useful size with three small drawers over four long drawers of graduated depth. Stunning burr yew wood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the top, front and sides. Canted corners with carved detail at the top and herringbone inlaid panels below, cushion mouldings around the drawers, shaped feet front and rear with another little carved detail. With a clear maker’s stamp in the middle drawer. Superior quality with solid mahogany groundwork and drawer linings. Excellent condition retaining the original handles, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.

Dimensions: width 36", depth 20½", height 41".
