Antique Lancashire Watch Co Pocket Watch

Description

Antique Lancashire Watch Co pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, ¾ plate, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The English made case is gold plated and the condition is good with just general light surface marks.

The watch glass has a couple of short scratches but not too noticeable.

The signed enamel dial has some hairline cracks and small chips. The hands are initially set by way of the pin-set mechanism.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
