The glazed upper section enclosing two glass shelves and retaining the original velvet lining, the lower section with a two door cupboard, raised on square sectioned and tapering legs united by a shaped ivory line inlaid under-tier. The hand made brass locks by Cope & Collinson, with key. Sizes - Height...66''...168cm. Width...30''... 76cm. Depth...13''... 33cm. Provenance- With a letter from the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, dated 6th Nov 1963, attributing this cabinet to Collinson & Lock by virtue of similarities to items in their collection. Condition..Very fine and completely original.
