A Fabulous Pair of Boxed Victorian Silver Gilt Dessert Servers.

A wonderful pair Victorian silver gilt dessert or fruit spoons, of the highest quality. These fabulous examples have engraved design to the bowls and beautiful cast handles and shanks featuring peacocks. The spoons are gilded and they are in a fitted box.

Frederick Elkington made a name for himself producing very high quality hallmarked silver items, before moving on to silver plate.These wonderful examples are a lovely find and an excellent gift idea, being both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or dents. There is some gilding loss to the reverse (shown in photos), commensurate with age and use. The box is in excellent condition.
