Description

A very unusual board barometer with four thermometers in centigrade and celsius in mercury and alcohol. A cistern mercury barometer tube with makers name 'R. Thomas, 7 Duke St. Grosvenor Sq. London' on the cistern cover. A storm tube similar to ones on Admirol Fitzroy's. A mahogany case.

Robert Thomas of London is recorded in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working in 1873.
