Good Mahogany 8-Day Fusee Wall Clock

Description

A good quality mid-19th century mahogany WALL CLOCK in full working order.

The mahogany case features a narrow surround of excellent colour with its cast brass bezel and convex glass. The eight-day movement is chain-driven fusee with its original pendulum. Guaranteed for at least two years. *James Barber is recorded working in York from 1790-1814, then went into partnership with William Whitwell, before reverting to working on his own again. He died in 1857.
