Exceptional quality parquetry bedroom suite made by Mercier Freres of Paris.Makers plate in drawer of dressing table. Mahogany and fruit wood parquetry with exquisite detailed ormalu.Suite comprises of king size bed, armoire, pair of bedsides, pair of chairs and dressing table.The armoire is fully lined with shelves and drawers; a rail can be added if required.Bevelled mirror in good condition. bevelled glass top to dressing table with blue fabric under, (can be changed), four small drawers. Chair seats newly upholstered in plain cream linen. Bedsides; both with marble tops and drawers; one with marble lined cupboard.

Mercier Freres was a distinguished French design studio and furniture manufacturer founded late in the 19th century in Paris on rue Faubourg Saint-Antoine in the heart of the Parisian furniture district. It was recognized as one of the leading French design firms of the late 19th century, a distinction that continued well into the 20th century. In 1924, Mercier Freres was chosen to represent France in the Exposition Française de New York, an important trade fair that was held in the Grand Central Palace. At one time the firm had branches in both Geneva and Dallas.
