Fishermen by a Stream. Horror is not well documented but his work is of exceptional quality. He was born 1809 in Bath and is recorded as having lived in Bath and Bristol. Most of his pictures are of the west of England or the Welsh countryside. He exhibited at the British Institure from 1834-1877 and is thought to have died in 1877.

Provenance: The painting was lot 374 in the sale of Agatha Christies house Greenways 12th Sept 2006. The auctioneers were Bearnes of Exeter. A rare opportunity for an Agatha Christie fan to own one of the pictures from Greenways.
