An Antique Omega Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around three minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed Omega and it has the serial number 4,244,531 which dates it to around 1912/1913.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The front and sides of the case are in nice condition. The hinged case back has some unevenness. The inside of the case back has the early Omega logo.

The replacement plastic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in beautiful condition.

The watch comes with a nickel watch chain which measures 30cm long.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
