A Stunning Quality Mahogany Edwardian Period Antique Wellington Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning quality mahogany Edwardian Period antique wellington chest. Having a solid mahogany rectangular top cross banded in satinwood above an arrangement of eight mahogany lined graduating drawers. The drawer fronts are constructed from the finest figured mahogany and with circular brass ring pull handles. The pilasters with shell inlaid paterae and trailing harebell inlaid detail, with the right hand pilaster acting as the traditional wellington chest locking mechanism. The whole supported on a mahogany plinth and having solid mahogany sides. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 24" wide x 16" deep x 51" high

Condition: This wellington chest is in stunning condition, re-polished in our workshops
