Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It has a generous serpentine shaped front & is in good original condition. It also has a brushing slide in the middle & it separates into two sections for easy transportation. I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period. The drawers have fine dovetails & solid oak bottoms. The top cornice has a Greek Key moulding with individual tear drop mouldings below that. This is a top quality piece, with solid wood throughout, even on the back & consequently it's quite heavy. It does come apart into two sections for easier transportation.
