Austrian Goldscheider Terracotta Sculpture.

Description

19th century Austrian Goldscheider terracotta figure of a female water carrier, modelled and signed F. Gross, foundry numbered and with the Goldscheider stamp on the reverse.

This Goldscheider sculpture is beautifully modelled, patinated in naturalistic colours with partial gilding and the belt is inset with beautiful opals.

This sculpture is in very good condition.

Width 10" - 25cm
