Cased Set of American Silver Forks by Gorham

Description

A good cased set of twelve American silver CAKE or PICKLE FORKS in perfect condition.

Each has "trident" shaped tines and pretty handles cast with scrolls. All are marked STERLING and .925, with the maker: Gorham Manufacturing Co of Providence, Rhode Island, USA.

*Gorham is acknowledged as being one of the largest producers of silverware in America, responsible for very fine work. Indeed the White House has used services by Gorham during a number of administrations.
