The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is signed AWW Co, Waltham, Mass and it has the serial number 15,675,812 which dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The full hunter case is the Moon model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Often movements were imported from the USA to be cased and retailed in the UK. The case has a small indentation to the back but otherwise is in good condition.
The plastic lens is in good order.
The signed white dial is in good condition. Blued steel hands (some of the finish has come off over the years), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
