Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The movement has been totally overhauled and is running within 0 to +1 second per day in all five positions. These 30L manual wind movements are probably the best movements ever made by any manufacturer.

The dial is totally original and has never been touched, it has a very rare starburst texture centred on the subseconds hand.
The hands and winding crown are all original and the serrations on the crown are still very sharp to the touch.

The Longines made case is in remarkable unblemished condition with no dents or scratches anywhere and has nice sharp edges and contours. the serial number on the inside of the caseback matches the number on the movement.

Its in a rare oversize case measuring 36mm in diameter without the crown.
It is also pictured with its original solid 18ct rose gold bracelet which has had a small extension piece added during the course of its life.

It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap.
The price including the gold bracelet is £2950 and with the leather strap and buckle £2000.
The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Longines in all respects.

It has been professionally serviced and overhauled by Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
