A marvellous pair of antique papier-mâché chairs in great condition with no breaks on the legs or the bergere seats. The gilt decoration is inter-spaced with mother of pearl inlays throughout the backs and legs and is still in excellent clear condition. These delicate chairs are superb examples of high Victoriana and have survived remarkably well.
