Description

Unusual late 19th.c. chess or games table c.1880. Pretty tapestry or woolwork chequerboard top under glass in a carved and shaped frame with turned droppers at each corner. Raised on an exceptional carved mahogany base with a splendid twisted column on scrolling acanthus leaf tripod legs. Very good unrestored condition.

Dimensions: width 21½", depth 21½", height 31".
