Pair of Antique Leather & Mahogany Wing Back Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very impressive pair of naturally distressed leather wing armchairs in excellent original condition, with a wonderful shape. The leather is a distressed brown, with a slight reddish tinge showing in places & they really are a wonderful colour. They have hump backs & generously shaped wings. These armchair are very sturdy, helped by the fact that they sit on mahogany legs that are joined by cross stretchers & they are hand tacked all over. I would date them to around the 1910-20's period.

Height - 44", 112 cm

Seat height - 16.5", 42 cm
