A superb quality mahogany inlaid Late Victorian Period antique wardrobe by Edwards & Roberts Of London. With a traditional stepped and moulded breakfront cornice and having full length twin panelled doors to the ends, each constructed with the finest fiddleback mahogany and with stunning marquetry and pen-work inlaid panels depicting Sheraton style classical urns within ribbon and swag borders. The right hand section with internal mahogany hooks and a brass hanging rail, the left hand section with internal mahogany hooks, a rail and a lower shelf. The central "Press" section again having fine quality fiddleback mahogany doors with Sheraton style marquetry and pen-work urn panels, opening to reveal five sliding mahogany trays above an arrangement of two short and two long rectangular storage drawers with ribbon, swag and harebell marquetry detail and with turned mahogany drawer pulls. Supported on a solid mahogany breakfront plinth. This wardrobe splits into six sections for easy transportation. English circa 1890-1900
